S#arp Attitude is UMass Amherst's award-winning all-female-identified a cappella group. Since starting from casual roots in 2011, S#arp Attitude has worked hard to develop their sound, image and repertoire, garnering respect as a top performing group both in the Northeast and across the country. Over the years, S#arp Attitude has transformed into a strong and competitive all-female-identified group with a hunger for inclusive equality and a passion for performance. They were featured on Season 2 of Sing It On, an aca-reality show by producer John Legend, surrounding their journey to the 2016 ICCA Championship. The group also won a Contemporary A cappella Recording Award (CARA) for Best Female Collegiate Album, for their debut album, Déjà Vu. S#arp Attitude's mission is to change the way society thinks about all-female-identified a cappella and to promote dynamic women in the spotlight.
